Christmas Update

bye bye christmas.

Christmas eve eve the girls came round for secret santa. I got loads of bath bombs which was a little upsetting now that i don't have a bath :( i miss soaking in the tub.

Christmas eve i had the day off and the house to myself so i was up early and did the last few bits of shopping and cleaned the house. When Martyn got home from work we watched Polar Express and Willy Wonka, baked the christmas cake and got a bit excited about christmas day.

Martyn got too excited about christmas day and acted like a 4 year old about going to bed.

Christmas day he managed to wake me up at 6.30 am so we came down and opened our presents. My presents from Martyn were

lots of brilliant treats. We went back to bed after we opened our presents for a christmas snuggle, i accidently fell asleep for a little while too. When i finally woke up i showered and dressed and prepared dinner and we waited for my family to turn up.

When they finally turned up we opened more presents.

We did a total win with christmas presents. Martyn also got spoilt.
We did christmas dinner and got so full.

After dinner we watched movies and eastenders.

Martyn got happy that they brought the dog with them and spent the whole evening cuddling it and we took him out for walks.

Boxing day we got up dead early and headed off to the Currys sale to buy a TV.

It was not my choice to watch football on boxing day. It looks a bit small here but really its not, i wanted a 26" tv but Martyn got his way and got the 32" one. I think its too big but movies do look pretty ace on it.

I also used all the currys vouchers i got for my new ipod. Which i have been updating ever since and so far i havent even got 10gb of music on it.

We headed into town the day after and got i got a case for my new ipod. When we got home we watched hellboy 2, the forbidden kingdom and lots of television.

Today we watched the Mummy 3, NFL and now last nights UFC. Brutal Knees!

This christmas has been all about eating too much, movies and being spoilt.

I love my H2B more than anything!

Christmas number 2

Last night i managed to finish work without doing too much over time. yipeeee!
I headed to morrisons to do my christmas food shopping and spent way too much but the house is fully stocked. Oh except for christmas crackers, apparently you dont need christmas crackers for dinner or so stupid morrisons thinks anyway.

Carrie came round last night for an early christmas, so this was my second christmas in a matter of days! i got some fab gifts too. Catch ups and then when Carrie went home i watched the hollyoaks i recorded.

Tonight the girls are coming over for present swapping CHRISTMAS NUMBER 3. waaaahhhh totally love the festive season.

Today is my last day of work for 2008!!!!!!!!!!! YES. Seriously couldn't be happier about that.

Christmas number 1

Well to start my first weekend of christmas i failed my FFA exam. I get to resit the course in May though and i only failed it by 9% so luckily i don't have too much to make up on.

After i got my exam results i popped into M&S to spend the last of my sky vouchers on christmassy goodies. We got little stockings full of marshmellows too. On route to the bus stop i went to borders and got Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit to play over christmas (we're so rock n roll) then got a cab because i was too lazy to get on the bus loaded with bags.

My dad was far too tired to do the travel up on friday so i spent the night in whilst Martyn went to band practice. Yep he's decided to do music, i think this was mainly because its a mates band and he's only playing bass. Easy stuff! he came home all hyper and happy pretty glad he got back into something he enjoys. I spent the night watching Nigella Lawson cuddled up on my sofa with the kitty. When he got back we ended up staying up till the early hours of the morning playing monopoly, i went bankrupt. Ooops.

Saturday i got up super early thanks to a kitten jumping on me wanting his breakfast. yeah good one. My dad got lost on his way here but when he finally made it we did a quick catch up and headed into town. Little Tokyo was our first stop, Sushi and a Bento box = fully ace. Then we browsed shops and found the TV we are going to buy with the money we get for christmas. I lost the battle with the TV i said 26" was big enough but the boys said i was wrong and a 32" was so much better.
Home for snoozing and then Wall E and mexican food for nibbles. How cute was Wall E, it made me laugh and get quite sad all at the same time.

Today i cooked a christmas style dinner seeing as my dad will be in Canada for christmas so this was our first in a long line of christmas weekends. We did present swapping and my dad gave us the full amount we need for a new TV. I was shocked to say the least it was the last thing i expected with how much his travelling is costing him, now i wish i'd got him a few more presents! I did love him coming to visit i hope he comes up a bit more when he's home.
Oh Martyn also put Sweeney Todd on this morning at 11am, not really sunday morning viewing but i'm always in the mood for johnny depp. I wish he never had that stupid tash!
We watched E.T this afternoon and the Steelers game.
Time to do laundry and maybe play more monopoly.

2 days left of work and then nothing till January 2nd, seriously cannot wait for that.

Blockbuster

so for those of you who don't know i do that internet blockbuster thing where they post you three movies at a time.

yesterday i watched Baby Mama - mildly amusing, but not something you'd get your boyfriend to sit through.
Martyn put Santa's Slay on the list too and we watched that last night. Santa is evil and murders people and is played by Bill Goldberg. It's as cringe worthy as it sounds.

Our list has been updated and told me Wall-E and Hancock are being sent to us. Could be good christmas viewing?? I am totally up for seeing Wall-E but not so sure on Hancock, i imagine it will be fun but i still haven't forgiven Will Smith for I am Legend.

Update

The weekend was wasted, mostly because i was ruined from the works christmas party.

I did however manage to finish my christmas shopping, dead happy about that.

Monday night we went to see the YD boys make some noise. They were fully ace and the new stuff was most excellent. Emmure were good, I didn't expect it full blown chaos were hell. BYD were a bit embaresing, it reminded me of coal chamber more than the hardcore band I'd expected.

I have decided that after online food shopping I could never go back to having to be bumped and run over by trolleys again. So I spent an hour or so browsing around and bought everything needed for cake baking to get christmas cakes ready in time. It was delivered yesterday and the man had a hook for a hand, i tried not to stare (as that would be totally rude) but all i could think was 'how do you drive???' They forgot my clementines too, not happy about that.

The kitten is being bullied by a big fat ginger cat in our street, at first I thought big ginge was friends with my little dude but then he started chasing him and attacking him. Toally sad about that.

I went to the docs wednesday to find out what this curious dry skin on audrey is and I've been told its eczema (sp?) So that's a relief I now have ointment to make it go away, soon she will be perfect again.

My financial accounting exam is today and I'm so worried about it :( glum.

This weekend Dads coming to stay to do christmas with him early as he's off to Canada to visit his lady friend over christmas.

Monday is present swapping with Carrie, her final present turned up yesterday so I did a quick wrap and popped it under my tree.

Tuesday is secret santa night with the girls and my final day in work and then nothing till January 2nd! seriously cannot wait for that, with the way works been lately I totally need a break.

Well my exams at 2.30 so i'm off to shower and cram in a little information before it.
